The students did well with the lesson and understanding the vocabulary review. However, when it was time to fill out the handouts, a lot of them had difficulty writing the procedures they did in the experiment. That is not a reflection of my lesson, but a reflection of their writing skills. They need more opportunities to express themselves because they do not always know what to write. The worksheets were differentiated but the students still needed help completing them.
