Is Co-education Injurious to Girls by John Dewey
Dewey provides beliefs that are devoted to those aspects of experience that have been associated with the female. In addition to an argument against the depreciation of the affective and of concrete relationships, Dewey's also believe that a thoughtful appreciation of how and why these things are essential to our moral life. Schools in American culture have always played an important role. I think that assimilation is important for the healthy growth of the human society. Boys should be able to interact with girls without feeling threatened and vice versa. What is need is the way in with we teach both sexes since one model would not fill all and boys are of a different composition than girls.
