Yes! Magazine Spring 2007. Is the U.S. Ready for Human Rights?
Education, by Rights
By Liz Sullivan and Cecilla Blewer
In this article we see a proposal for an innovative reform for training students of New York Public Schools to be active and engaged in and out of the community and by using the Human Rights Campaign to rebuild the schools. Teachers are able to in co-operate their own teacher-base assessment process, and combine a portfolio of classroom assessments, which will be used to measure students academic process and growth. This proposal will help to support and structure the school system that gives students, parents and the community, and create a new vision for the public school system.
