Arranged Marriages Rearranged Idea

It is very difficult for people to fully understand or appreciate the custom of societies in regards to living values. The concept of rearranged marriage is just one such example.

    In my society we were brought up with the concept of “free choice”. We were encouraged to make our own decisions of how to dress, work and choose our own partner in life. In fact, we are encouraged by our teachers, parents and spiritual leaders never to assume that one culture is better than the other. We all live in a cultural world of diversity and should accept each other. Arranged marriages might seem to be an issue to some but, statistics show that those arranged marriages seem to last longer than the modern –day marriages. It seems as though things are being done in the correct manner in that culture.
